Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Long-Term Care Quick Guides ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Description of Service

Long-Term Care Quick Guides provides educational resources designed for residents, families, and staff in Ontario long-term care homes. Our resources aim to support better communication and care practices within long-term care settings.

User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation
  • Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
  • Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any portion of the Service without express permission

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Long-Term Care Quick Guides and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our educational resources for personal and internal organizational use within your long-term care home. You may share these resources with colleagues at your facility as intended by the Service.

You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit our content without prior written consent.

The educational materials and resources provided through our Service are for informational purposes only. They are not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Governing Law

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Termination

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to reflect the parties' original intent as closely as possible.
